Marriage in church is about inviting God to be part of your marriage and to bless it!

Marriage in church contains both legal and spiritual elements.

The Bible tells us that: "God is love, and those who live in love live in God and God lives in them."

This is what we want for all those who come to get married at Brimington Parish Church!

How much does it cost?

If you have all of the usual things: the ceremony, organist etc. the cost is around £550.

Do I need to have been baptised to get married in church?

The short answer is no. Although baptism is an amazing part of your journey with God, you do not need to have been baptised, or attend Brimington Parish Church to get married here.

Don’t worry if you’re not sure what it is involved! The Rector will be able to help you find out exactly what is needed, and guide you through the process, step by step.

To enquire about weddings please contact our Rector, Daniel, directly via email: or by phone 01246 273103

Within the parish, St Michaels is seen as "The Parish Church" and is used by most local organisations, including the British Legion as the church for its annual Remembrance Day Parades and the uniformed organisations for parade Sundays.
